Have just had a look through these symptoms threads but cant find one to answer my question.
As a smoker - all of 3 days ago- I would often have a nap during the day, I say a nap, I could sleep for 3 hours straight and then still sleep at night.
Now, i'm not tired at all, ok, its a good thing I dont want to sleep during the day but I can't sleep at night either.
I am on 16hr patches, put 1 on when I wake up in the morning and take it off about an hour before I go to bed. I have my last lozenge after my tea (6-7pm)
Any advice welcome

Hi Midwifey
I guess that's because you've got more oxygen in your blood and the combination of patch and lozenges? Nicotine is a stimulant.
Got xbox kinect but have NO motivation..................i seem to be doing less than i did when i smoked. I used to use a cig as a reward for getting housework and chores etc done.
Not sleeping could just be par for the course! Many, many of us using patches suffered insomnia, myself included, not fine! And others couldn't get enough sleep, no rhyme or reason, we're all different. Sleep patterns can certainly be all over the place in this quit malarkey!
Ss Max said, excercise helps. My lab loved all the extra long walks in the early days of my quit!
