Feeling very blessed to be here 2weeks today!

Taking a day at a time, in a calm positive strong manner.

Plus I even feel lighter as I weighed myself today after

So my weights coming of slowly & healthy, & my mind body & soul is

enjoying being smoke free.

I can never remember where I posted my last message - so hope I remember this thread.

Well, I'm doing ok I stopped on Friday 15th March and I know that I'll never smoke again (I know, never say never) but I sincerely mean this, as I'm feeling so much better, cleaner and fresher in myself and also in my home.

I'm not using anything, but decided that since I get the urge I should send off for the Skycig - these are due to arrive tomorrow, which will take the urge off as and when it arises, or so I hope. They have had some good publicity.

It cost me £49 but I don't mind that as they'll last me a long time, since it's not a replacement for me, just something to take the edge off on the days when I need it. There have been several days when I can honestly say I would have loved a smoke, but I'm so driven that I know I wont and never will do again.

I'm getting feeling back in my legs and feet. Up until the 15th my feet were like lumps of ice, every year. The body starts to have things working better when you stop smoking so I've read, and I'm certain that my now warm feet are testament to that fact. I remember a few years ago a doctor taking my pulse at my ankles and telling me that I had to stop smoking, if I did stop smoking the circulation would get better and the condition would be halted. Of course, at the time I took no action, but I now see what he was talking about.

Well done Nadz!! Stopping smoking and losing weight. Brilliant, you are showing that it can be done. Keep up the good work! :)

Anne well done so far!! I remember my feet actually burning after stopping smoking for a few days. Look at it as a good sign, improved blood flow to your feet, you're on the mend!! :)

My toes were all hot and tingly for the first week of my quit - am guessing that was improved blood flow?

It's weird 'cos I'm still young and had lots of reasons to quit but my health wasn't one of them, but my smoking was obviously causing some problems I didn't know about

Well done Nadz! x

When I went yesterday to my smoking clinic, I thought let me weigh myself.

When I did I screamed so loud with joy in the room I made the lady jump out here seat hahahha.

So happy, I forgot I was at a smoking clinic and not a weight losing clinic lol. X

Thank you Nadz - today is quite hard, so unfortunately although I don't know what the connection is I've been having an eating day to ease the pain - but I know it's temporary and that tomorrow is another day - still no cigs since 15th, and patiently awaiting my SkyCig which I thought would arrive today.

Ur welcome Ann hun

Yep today I treated myself to a pack of crisps and a kitkat lool. Had a minor craving and put music on and danced it out with my 2 daughters lol. You hang in there ur cig will arrive soon.

Keep up the good work, dailysteps lead into week steps. Month steps and so on xxx

I do remember reading that there are some things which recover or stop within your body in only a small number of days after you stop - so that's a great sign. My feet are feeling the best they've felt in such a long time.

Nice to know we all, to a greater or lesser degree, more or less go through the same symptoms.
