Can't stop thinking about smoking today, is my daughters 18th tomorrow and am very excited about it, been really busy sorting her party but in between times all I can think about is fags, not going to have one, not in a million years, just wish this crave would do one!

Thanks Kat, it does help, more so because I know that you lot are going through it too. It's just so bloody annoying, m really enjoying being a non smoker most of the time, then bang! from nowhere there it is again:mad:

Hey I am sure it is little consolation but I am a bit the same today! Have found it all reasonably ok so far the odd bad day here and there but suddenly today I am obsessed!! Thinking about smoking, smelling smoke even when there clearly isn't any, and have a strange need to grind my teeth or chew feeling in my jaw. COMPLETELY out of the blue! Yesterday I was never smoking again today... Well today I could be tempted but have lasted til 930 so just waiting for shops to close!! I even picked up a cigarette and kind of fondled and realise that sounds so wrong!? But I did today. First day for ages a little voice has said 'go on.. You know you want to'

Luckily despite sitting with eight smokers for over an hour I didn't cave and I know you won't either - you are doing so well I know you know it would be stupid and such a waste! Imagine the 'here I am at day one' post and feeling!! That would suck and feel like 'why bother' we can do this!!!

Sorry mini rant there just wanted to know you aren't alone! Yest I was reading all the crave messages on here thinking thank god that's not me then doh out of the blue it whacked me firmly on the head and has stayed most of the day

Know what you mean about craving a ciggie when something exciting is happening but you know you are not going to give in now !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks you two, have worked out why I am craving so much and I am ashamedly going to tell you why. 18 years ago today, when I was in the early throes of labour with my beloved daughter, I started smoking again after being cig free during my pregnancy, I forced my hubby to go to the shop and buy me 10 lambert and butler to help with the labour pains, omg how bad is that. I had no pain relief and actually bragged that i got through labour with 10 fags! omg what a baaaaad mother am i!
