I so much wanted a fag. OH was working till two. I took to the booze instead. Rose. Hic. Put a glass outside the front door for him to neck before he came in.
Oh blow, he's had a bottle of bicardi for Christmas. All downhill from here then.
Have some nrt then Shelly. Probably shouldn't, but hey ho. I probably shouldn't have drunk so much or eaten so much. If you haven't had a cigarette by tomorrow, then nrt has done it's job.

Keep going girl!
I've just had a little puff of my inhalers thing., just a tiny puff,, feel a bit better now,,
Shelly and Nutmeg- Happy Xmas, well done for chosing NRT rather than sailing too close to the wind. Why do think it is that people feel that using NRT when you need to is something to be ashamed of?
I've felt the same for a couple of weeks. I'm thinking its because I'm feeling better and starting to do things I haven't done for months. I suppose it's just a lot of triggers. I've been sucking on my inhalator all the time.

I couldn't agree more. I have never understood the arguments one way or the other to be honest.
As far as I'm concerned, if someone manages to not smoke on a bad day then they should be so proud of themselves and no-one should make them feel any different!
As far as quitting goes, everyone should do whatever works! It matters not in the scheme of things, not one little bit. I don't even look at anyone's quit method unless its pertinent.
So, really well done Shelley and Fi. Big congrats to you both
