So, I thought I'd create another totally random thread. I started one called "I thought of so many names for this thread" which is for general / random grumbles and moans, where people can have a whinge without having to start a new thread.
Well, here's one for random "Yippeeeeess", positive feelings, physical or emotional from your quit.
So, I'll start it off. As many will know I've been having a few problems with sleep and well, I went to sleep last night at 10pm and didn't wake up til 7am this morning, yep that's 9 hours sleep!!!! And, I feel darned fine today!!!
So, yippeeeeeee!!
I hope everyone else is just fine and dandy on this Christmas Eve

Good to hear you slept really well last night Molly
i love positive threads
and trying to see the positives in any given situation is so much better for you then negatives they just bring you down and make things seem a whole lot worse then it is
here are a couple of positive quotes that i found this morning and like
Well 9 hours sleep, 4 miles walked, 350 calories burned, and now sitting with a tired but well happy doggie. It just doesn't get much better than this!!!
Chuffed you got a good nights sleep at last chuck.......well deserved and hopefully thoroughly enjoyed!
A positive thread is a great idea.
I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would get to this point in my life!
A point where the thought of a smoke free Christmas doesn't terrify the living daylights out of me!
A point where I can be open, honest and at times (all though getting less) emotional about my addiction and subsequent quit.
A point where I knew I would have online friends to give me a virtual hug, cuddle, slap in the face and kick up the butt...... all of which I have received of late
A point where I can hold my head up and say with pride......I've Quit!
This has only happened because of this forum and all of it's fantastic members.
I hope I can speak for all of "us newbies" and thank every single one of the quitters ahead of us for giving us the road map for our quit, THANK YOU.
I hope you and your loved ones have a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy, Smoke Free, Peaceful & Prosperous New Year.
...and remember folks.......Our quit is for life ...... Not just for Christmas.
The only thing left to do is.......a bit of Dad dancing......well it is Christmas after all!!.......
