And i will be exactly one month smoke free..

This week has been much easier so far, but i have been hit with anxiety. As I have suffered from this in the past, my gp has immediately given me antidepressants.

Anyway, I do hope that you're all staying strong. It is amazing how quickly this new habit starts to embed.

Hi!

We should be really proud of ourselves!

Today has been one of the first days that it has hardly crossed my mind!

How are you feeling? Do we go into month 2 next week? :-0

We definitely should be proud! I've been ok most of the time though had some craves but not enough to make me cave. I've just finished the Allen Carr book which was great, definitely look at smoking in a different light now, don't ever want to smoke again!

I reckon we will be in month 2 room next week - wow that sounds good ;-)

You sound so positive...good on you!!

I read that a few years ago. It wasn't my time then, but some of the words have stayed with me and i do use them from time to time :-).

Month 2 sounds amazing. I can't believe that i am really doing this!

I've had a few mouth ulcers this week and i am still waiting for energy, but its not stopping me.

As I have been signed off work, think that I will attempt a long walk tomorrow....need to do something before I need to buy bigger clothes ;-).

I've put on weight but will worry about that later, hope to get back into running (well jogging) after Christmas which will definitely be much easier as a non smoker! A few people seem to have mentioned mouth ulcers, not had those just bleeding gums and mouthwash seems to help with that.

Enjoy your walk tomorrow, breathe in that amazing fresh air!!

Well done Shell and Kazzy

The clean breathing is really .... REALLY nice isn't it? :)

Exercising will be so much easier now and you will recover quicker than ever.

I find that amazing and it's keeps me going for more....greedy for that oxygen ... gimme gimme gimme ... :D

Hats off to you both

Take care

Greg

Hey Sian, I'll be 4 weeks tomorrow and a calendar month on Thursday which I'm well chuffed about. I think Shell should have done a month either today or tomorrow, hope it's comfy in room 2!

Definitely need to lose weight after Christmas, didn't someone mention boot camp?!

huge congrates

Well proud kazzy, month 2 is a comfy room, full of tasty treats :D

Thinking of boot camping after the new year as with Xmas and new year it be rude not to over indulge in food and alcohol, especially now it tastes better :D

Sorry about me grumbling in another thread :o
