Yay! A whole week done!!!

FEeling quite proud of myself and quite confident i can make it through teh month now (thats my challenge to myself! - I figure I can make an informed decision then whether its better as a smoker on non smoker)

I realise this may be a positive affect to some, but I only seem to be smelling bad things!!!!

I never really believed it when people said you could smell better, but I am strating to notice I can and I'm really hating it.... anyone got any tips to stop it or do i just have to get used to all these horrible smells?

Well done you, I'm bunged up with cold so not smelling anything good or bad.

I'm actually feeling its getting easier to get through the cravings now, and see myself as a non smoker.

Hi, I'm on week 2 aswell. I had a stinking cold for the 1st week and felt quite bunged up and then didn't have any better sense of smell until yesterday. I can only seem to smell the nasty smells too and some weird smells which i'm not sure if I like or not. The good thing is I am spraying a lot less perfume (which I used to use a ton of to mask the smell of smoke) and my house feels super clean and fresh again without the need for air freshners. So on a positive note not only am i saving by not spending on ciggies. I am saving on not having to replace my perfume so quickly and buying less air freshners!! bring on the stinky smells. I seem to be cleaning instead of smoking anyway!

Woohooooo well done on week 1 :D

Its probably because they are the dominant stronger smells...as nasty as they are...you will get used to them...remember how we could never smell smoke on us or other people??...because we were immune to it, but now we can...sometimes we have to have a little rain to appreciate the rainbow :D

Hello, I'm new to the forum and currently on Day 9 of 'Stoptober'.

I seem to have been noticing smells more, mainly bad ones. :o my tip is to clean out the cat litter tray more often! ( maybe that's just me)

I've got a tickly cough today, but my partner has a cold at the moment so it might be that.

Been generally really peed off most of the time but I try to remind myself I am not giving up, I am reclaiming my life! :)

Well done to you as well as all the others who recently entered their 2nd week!!! I'm entering my 9th day and lately also noticed so many more smells. However Im eating far too much lately (which is currently costing me much more than when I used to smoke). I'm not overweight, however if it carries on like now I will soon be! He-he!

Good luck to ya all and looking forward seeing your progess on this forun!!
