I'm on 23 and a half days and feeling absolutely great.

Saw my GP the day before yesterday, however, and she did a full exam. Took blood for tests etc. All tests came back fine except for my liver. There seems to be a little glitch there. Enough of a glitch that she had to inform me about it, contact my psychiatrist about my meds, and pursue further tests. Still, she said it's not bad enough to be serious. Just a glitch that should be checked out, just to be sure. So am awaiting the results.

Because of The Glitch I've decided to quit my Champix. So took my last Champix last night, and am now Champix free. I know that I may experience some ill effects due to the nicotine receptors in my brain now being unoccupied, but I think I'll be ok.

It's absolutely wonderful to have this forum and all the people on here! You guys are such an inspiration! I have never felt so much in the presence of so many people that I admire so much. It's very uplifting. Thank you for being there!

That's it for me.

Lotsa Huggs

If you need to come off the champix for your health then it's best to do that. I have half of my course of champix still in the house as I stopped taking them myself as I couldn't stand the feeling sick and tired. use the forum to post how you are feeling, if you need to rant them by all means do. No one here will hold it against you because we all know it is the little monster craving nicotine.

I hope that you remain as positive as you are right now Shanita, you are doing really well and being so focused will serve you well in this quit. You may just find you dont miss the Champix I didn't, I stopped them after a month and I didn't feel any different. Good luck to you and keep posting on here and reading to help you. Glad your gp is keeping an eye on you too:)
