Can quite honestly say that after days 2 and 3 I really didn't think I'd last another day - but I have! And I think the fact that I now know I can do it has helped me loads. To be fair I had to go buy one of the inhalator things, but I only used it when having a cup of tea as that's the cigarette I miss the most. Anyway, no real point to this I suppose, but hey ho
Soldiering on through day 4..: Can quite... - No Smoking Day
Soldiering on through day 4..
Well done, Tweety. Yes you CAN do it. It is amazing though when you realise you are doing it, isn't it? Keep on keeping off those cigs. It is hard but well worth all the effort.

Well done to you too
I was thinking of drinking herbal tea instead, but then I thought why should I, eh!? I LIKE my tea, and I get really grumpy without it (giving it up would, very possibly, be worse than quitting smoking haha).
Well done Tweet on getting to day 4. That is a big achievement. Keep it up and you will soon be at week 4.
It doesn't matter how much nicotine you have to take. When I joined a stop smoking service at a major high street chemist I was given patches and quitmist spray so don't get hung up on the method. It doesn't matter how you do it as long as the outcome is what you are looking for.
Keep at it.
I know what you mean i was the same with coffee in the morning i relate that to a cig i think we are giving up enough just now keep up the good work

Quite exciting, that's how I'm feeling now. One end of the spectrum to the other! Bring on week 4!!
Haven't put on a new patch today, so maybe I'll just stick with the inhalator thingymybob..

Keep up the good work, girl.
Tea and coffee...I would absolutely turn into a wailing banshee if I gave it up.
I think about all the £ I'm going to save. And over the 4 days I have quit I've saved £30! Rock on!
Yes your so right its amazing how much you save funny you dont think about it when your buying them
I'm in week 8 now and have saved nearly £400!!
Feel sick and ashamed at all the thousands I've burnt away on something that's been killing me. It's a shame that you can't see all the thousands of cig ends in a heap behind you....you only ever see that single one in front
Ye Gods.I'm not even going to go there!
