Aas day 16 comes to a close, i am pleased to see myself move up the boards and take challange week 3...
Had my second visit to the nurses this evening to review the good old chammy and do my third carbon monoxicde test and i can tell you, going from 47 to 42 then to a massive 2... is just amazing, fear has lifted and to be honest, im still inshock when i got 42 but, to be fair its better thanthe screwed up machine giveing me 99 with alram bells haha faulty machine almost killed me of a heart attack......
Anyways its not been easy, some great days and not so great days but everyday i getthat little bit stronger and my wihdrawal are less and less, the pangs are becoming shorter and more or less a thought....
its crazy how one min your fine then out the blue a wave just hits you...
DONT underestimate your safty zone... keep strong peeps.

You are doing so well Derek. Those readings are surely enough to spur you on? I feel a bit cheated because our nurse never did thos readings and I would have liked to have known what mine were. Keep going and stay strong Derek you are winning this battle.
I think it would be nice to have one of these machines around all the time....they should be sold where cigs are sold!
When I went for my second meeting with counsellor she went on phone to ask about my prescription immediately after asking me to blow into it. So I blew, looked at it and it said 0 Blow , so I blew again. I did this 4 times until she came off phone and I said, " I don't think your machine is working. It keeps saying 0 and asking me to blow again." She had to explain that there was no CO in my blood. DUHH.
