Well three months in to watching what I eat and drink and I'm the best part of two stones lighter. I'm not exactly sure as I didn't start weighing myself immediately...a good cheat technique Mind you my belly was in the way of seeing the scales any way.
I sought help from a nutritional therapist to help me along the way.
For those interested I've done this on limiting carbs (especially after 15:00), the carbs I do eat are unrefined (brown), I try to stay away from potatoes and stuff. Lots of lean protein, nuts and seeds.
I've been careful of low fat stuff! I use full fat Greek yoghurt and cheeses as reduced fat stuff is usually pumped full of carbs. I try to keep my diet as natural as possible by not eating stuff that has been fettled with.
Oh and grazing, I never go 2 - 3 hours without a meal of some kind.
Don't just take note of scales as these don't define whether you're using lean or fat. BMI and other measurements are a much better guide.
