Day 5 - Must get some work done today!
Morning peeps! Just wanted to say have a great smoke free day, whatever day you are on & a big thank you to this forum & it's members that offer great advice, help, support & strength!! I feel great!!!! Must crack on now!! All the best
Have a great smoke free day Leeroy and get some work done!
failing miserably...... on getting the work done!!
you are an addict to this site now
which is alot better full of great people that share a common goal
sadly though it can stop you doing anything else
but there is always later for jobs they will keep
glad to see your still staying positive
Well you know what they say, an addict changes one addiction for another! Started cracking on with work over the last hour or so & my god it is difficult! there are sooooooo many triggers I have & need to reprogramme. Talking on the phone to a customer.......... i'll have a fag after this call!! NNNOOOO!!! I'll just do this proposal & I'll have a fag! NNOOOO!! Lunch time in a bit, time for a fag!! NNNOOOOO! I'll be fine though, one thing I need to watch out for is now I am feeling the benefits of not smoking, breath better, lungs feel better, the little demon is quite insistant that one more won't hurt!!! :mad:GRRRRRR!!!!! Anyway, must get back & make some money to spend on anything else except fags!!!! P.s Still got £20 note in wallet from last weekend!!!!! Normally I would have spent that & more & wonder where my money was going!!
too true but at least the addiction with this site is def much better for you
those pesky triggers are sooo annoying
the good news is they will start to get weaker and weaker the longer you stay on your quit journey
just remember smoking has been a part of your life for a long time so its going to take time to get used to doing every day things without a ciggie afterwards and retraining your mind to learning a new way of living without them controlling your life
keeping hands and mind busy when you get a trigger is the key and keeping a positive mind is def the way forward
just think of all that money you are going to save and all those treats you can get with the proceeds having a jar to put the money in will help as you can just see that money grow every day
you have the power back
