A rather grey day here but still a good one because I am nicotine free. I have kept busy which helps. I am really hungry but I am trying to stick to mainly healthy snacks with an occasional treat thrown in.
I do have an issue with wind which is unfortunate

Well done Ellie on getting to day 4. Yes stick with the healthy treats (they are probably causing the wind though) but the occasional treat is good too. Keep it up!
I'm ready for day 5. I plan to hit the gym for pilates and my training session this morning. After lunch I will be tackling my hall cupboard which needs a big clear out.
DH is off for the weekend and it is a bit of pain him still smoking. But my resolve is strong.
... and I've found this morning the most difficult so far!
I found you all via a search and am so glad to have done so. You're an incredibly encouraging lot - wow!
I stopped four years ago for 9 weeks, then life threw a couple of life changing things my way and I started again, so I'm now giving it another try.
This is my Day 4. Up to now it hasn't been too difficult, which has amazed me after 30 years of smoking but today I woke up REALLY wanting to smoke. Too early for mints yet, though I'll have one on the train to work and will throw myself into my book on the way there.
I keep losing my train of thought (not good when you're teaching:mad and am very tired when I get home but apart from being VERY hungry was coping up to now. I'm trying so hard not to put on weight because I've been here before and it was the weight gain which persuaded me (or gave me an excuse) to start again - I really want to be free of this drug this time.
Must say I am having a little trouble with the wind also.
From what I've read it is quite a common thing. In fact, Cavalier posted a link not so long ago to a site that outlined the phenomenon, but I wasn't able to find it back again... Maybe PM him and ask.
