Not been here for a while, but I'm pleased to say that I'm still on the road with my quit. I actually searched back through a few of my posts from late September, early October last year just now and was honestly surprised that the feelings of anxiety about going out for a beer were so much of an issue.
For "newbies" looking at this, I can honestly say that after almost 8 months, I very rarely think of smoking these days, and would be happy in any situation without worrying about smoking.
My plan to get fit and do my marathon is now entering the final phases. I'm currently winding down to my first ever marathon in 16 days time, and I WILL finish it in a reasonable time! I think the effort in getting fit has been a massive influence on keeping me clean this time..
Anyway.. Some stats.
Days without smoking : 238
Cigarettes not smoked: 3572
Miles recorded in training: 615
Number of cigarettes smoked: 0!
