Afternoon had a bit of a shock went to buy some essentials paying by card and then the worse thing happened not enough funds OMG that will be because i paid £95 for my car tax but im sure i checked my balance was ok. Well i came out and thought this is the end of things total crap feeling. So thought it can happen to anyone for just one moment i had a nicodemon thought but strong mint will cure this. Phew. Im at a collie rescue centre now to offer my voluntary time at Colton. Just maybe i can walk a dog and get some exercise. Jacqui

Well done Jacqui - that's another crave/trigger/difficult moment now behind you. They've been coming thick and fast for me too, recently - but we must just keep on going ... We CAN beat this!

Hey you're getting stronger every day.

That's such a lovely thing to do with your spare time, really admire you for that. Walking the dogs will ease stress, the excersise will make all those nice endorphins pop up in your brain, and you will feel good for helping the rescue out and making a dog happy for an hour. Do you have a dog of your own? Maybe you will even fall in love with one of the collies one day and want to have them :)

I am terrible like this, if I helped at a rescue I'd feel sorry for everything and want to bring them home lol all my animals in the past have been ones that people have grown tired of. My first dog velvet was part of a litter that was an accident, my mams friends dog. So we took one lol then I remember I had two rabbits that someone had wanted rid of, and a guinea pig, and my cousins bichon they didn't have time to look after so he becane velvets companion but sadly he got ran over at a young age :( and then the dogs I have now were unwanted, so I got a lhasa apso and a shihtzu for free :) lol I loved them all and I love the two I have now. Rescuing an animal is the most rewarding thing x

:) Thank you Rochelle, I did walk 3 very lovely dogs, Peggy, Toby & Prince, and I felt so pleased for them, and enjoyed my 2hrs their. We dont have any dogs at home just 2 rabbits, I would love a dog but my OH is not so keen.

Still I will be going again tomorrow just 2days a week though.

Its a lovely place in the wide open countryside too.

Thank you mash love the punt. ( Fleetwood how fantastic is that. a Collie rescue place. my idea of heaven. that should counter any thing pooey.)

And thanks HWG, and you know what I did have enough money in my bank, I m not too sure about these places when you put your card in.. thinking they may copy all my details. Thoughts eh.

Hope you are all doing well in your quits.

In my experience the person in the house that isn't so keen gets the most attatched to the dog ;) my lhasa apso is called Toby x pleased you enjoyed it. 2 days a week is a lot!! Well done x

You're showing amazing strength to keep your quit as I know you are having other problems at the moment.

Keep strong, keep talking to your other half and, whilst it may be hard, keep positive about the future. :)

Better days are ahead, keep the faith and you will get there.
