Went to the chemist to pick up my prescription of patches yesterday. Went to put one on today and they arnt the invisible ones!!! Looks like they're the older type ones they're pinkish and don't stick very well what's the crack there?! Anyone had these? And anyone found they don't stick well?
As I guessed they were the older type I checked the date on the pack and they're 2014 so I can't go and complain and demand different ones.
Also they say 15mg, which is fine as the others were 25mg but they say step one. On the older type did you start on 15mg??

The ones I have still say invisi on them. Not sure if yours do or not. Never opened the box but I can do if you want me to have a look at one - I don't mind as not using them
Its alright hun if they say invisi then they will be the ones in blue box like I had for my step ones, the ones I got given yesterday are in a white box and still say step one but 15mg, so I think I've deffo got the old type. They bloody awful to stick I'm gonna tell the nurse not to send to this chemist next time, ill pick the prescription up and take it to a chemist in town I don't want these pink things again lol
Think I've only got another 5 weeks to go on them though.
They do stick if you press them firmly on for about a minute including the edges. after that they even stay on in the shower.
Mx
I miss my invisis they stayed on in the shower too lol nah these are fine I mean I forgot about it once I'd had it on a while but I've taken it off now cos going to bed soon and its left daft marks on my arm. So ill be cleansing that off for two weeks I suppose
Only 5 weeks - that's fantastic. Hope they give you the right ones next time x
Yeah I know can't believe its gone so fast lol 2 more appointments with the nurse to go. Can't wait til its over to be honest then I can get on with life. Lol x
I stick mine down with plasters... a lot cheaper and hassle-free than a new patch, and yes I have noticed that the invis patches stick better.
Also 15mg are step one for those smoking 10 a day or less.
Thanks.
Just my last ones were step one 25mg, and when I've looked at them in shops out of curiosity step two on the invisis are 15mg so I guessed these were the older models! Cos I havnt seen the box before in shops when I've looked.
I havnt felt any different really on these lower mg, and I suppsose my body will be weaned to it by tomorrow?
Got a new prescription for patches yesterday so took it to tesco instead of my chemist across the road and got my invisi ones so I'm happy. They're so small though!!! Them daft pink ones were the same size as the invisi step ones.
Not long to go til I've done my full 12 weeks with the nurse!!! But most of all I'm working on my weight and blood pressure with her now though rather than smoking. I havnt put any weight on since I stopped smoking thank god and kicked into healthy eating and excersise and had lost 3kg or 6 and half pounds since the 2 weeks befores appointment. So happy with that. New focus now!! Feel like I'm over the smoking part. Done that and I don't ever want to start smoking again. Reckon it would take a lot to make me want to smoke. Because I despised myself for being a smoker and I was too heavy a smoker for my age. 15-20 is a lot of fags to smoke for a 23 yearold I think. They had to go.
Anyway that was easy, quitting smoking. Successfully losing weight is hard. Loads harder than stopping smoking lol
