Hi, it's been a little tense on here over the last few days and, knowing what I can be like, I felt it wise for me to refrain from posting for a while.
I'd like to thank Si, Dolly, Jubilee, nonico and Lisa for their kind words either publicly or privately, it means more than I can put into words.
I want to apologise to 9 January if you felt I was attacking you, I wasn't, I was just trying to put my point across about my thoughts on a continuous quit.
As usual with me, I'm all or nothing and very black and white about things. Sometimes this comes across as aggression when all it really is is passion.
There have been some nasty things said tonight on various threads (one in particular) and I hope, when those involved have had time to reflect, that people apologise, make it up and get this forum back to how it was just a few weeks ago when I joined
Onwards and upwards people, to infinity and beyond!

Welcome back mate. What's happening on here eh. Its just feels like were in a war zone. I hope it calms down and the people who see being so unsupportive move on and choose to misbehave somewhere else.
Well I smoked 10 cigars yesterday but I'm not counting them (that's a JOKE everyone, please don't take it seriously! :D) so yes, my second month starts on 27th February!
This forum is great, hopefully we'll look back on these last few days of tension and laugh about it soon
Alas, I am having rage issues, although that is not why I got into a fight with Karri tonight. She hit first when I was responding to someone elses thread. And it was uncalled for. So now I dunno where to go to get help but I need it.
Smoking will not win you the argument, get back at Karrie (if that's really what you want) or make you feel any better.
This all seems to have started from my post about 9 January ignoring having 15 cigarettes and just carrying on with the quit.
I feel a little responsible for everything that has happened since and the whole reason I stopped posting for a while was precisely because I didn't want to get blamed for people getting stressed and breaking their quit!
You are a Dolly Mixture now and don't you forget it!
Repeat after me "Dolly Mixtures do not break a quit"!
I'm listening....louder, louder, LOUDER!
Good!
You done really well Zoe, just say no to smoking, 1 second, minute or hour at a time.
You've been here before and got through it, you can and will do it again tonight!

Thanks Gary it wasn't about January at all, seems Karri took umbridge at a reply I made to legs_eleven and attacked me for no reason at all :D:rolleyes: Thing is though, I can quit and she can't, yet. Don't mean to be mean but not eaten all day and really need to go to bed now. C ya 2moz
Well I've slipped up 4 times and carried on with my quit.
I'm not proud of the 4 times, I found cigs lying around and smoked them (threw about the same amount down the loo) but anyhow, 4 cigarettes in 4 weeks is a damn sight better than 15-25 in one day.
Welcome back Capitan and as I often say , never give up giving up everyone!
Ok Capitan I hear you...but I'm only doing floating around for you...being my elder and wiser...I'll keep an ear out. In the meantime share and enjoy...
I haven't really smoked anything, it was a joke relating to a post I made a few days ago which may have contributed towards the forum getting tetchy for a while.
Good luck with your quit, 20 odd quits is amazing but you have persevered which is the main thing

Ya know what, forums sometimes get heated. The thing is, we don't know eachother personally and things can get mis interprted on here. Its just normal. I am on a marmaris forum and a lhasa apso forum, it happens everywhere. You've just gotta not get involved or if you are involved, agree to disagree and forget about it. We are not always going to agree on forums, there's always gonna be difference of opinions and heated debate. We're all adults from different walks of life, its expected!! I dunno why everyone is getting so upset about it. It happens, its life, todays a new day so move on.
Good to see you back though Gary, you are a massive support to me and my quit twin as we are on the same day. Month 2 for us now!!! Wooooooo
You were one of the first people to welcome me to the site on my first post and I always enjoy reading your posts!! My laptop has been playing up so missed all the agro - am just checking in from my mums pc - glad everyone seems to be sorted now - hopefully laptop will be fixed soon as have missed this place!! Although maybe my few days break came at the right time - lol!
