Hi everybody, decided to finally drop some lines :D. I quit smoking January 24th, 2012 and ever since that day I have been a daily visiter to this forum, so I finally signed up a couple of days ago.

The people on here are awesome, there is so much support and information that really helped me out to go through a lot. Even though I was a silent participant, Yeah was a bit  ok a lot  but finally getting better this is my second time quitting and having a heck of a time with it, but things are starting to get better and hopefully will continue to get better.

Luv the name - nice to see you here. The trick is to "enjoy your quit". :)

Hi Grumpy. Always nice when a lurker decides to speak up. Well done on quitting - hang in there, it is bloody hard at the start but if you just stick it out, one day at a time, it really does get easier.

Y'all have a nice day now, ya hear? :D

Helen

Hi All! Sorry about the name, but it was my beloved cat's name! I'm in day 19 and have been smoke free! Just want to introduce myself, have been reading from afar and this site really helps, so Thank You! It's so hard sometimes, but I feel so much better, cravings still there.......I started smoking at 17 and turning 50 soon, lately was smoking over a pack a day...thanks so much for this website!

Yes...I remember those times. It has become easier. I'm now on Day 25 but the red mist can fall at any time. And when it does I have to try and deal with it. Without smoking and that's the best thing of all.

Good luck

X

Visiting your state every year

Hi Juilee,

Nice to see somebody else from the US on here, with time difference and all that. I am all the way up in North Alabama, Huntsville to be exact, but family and I are driving a good 12 hours every year to visit Orlando Florida....and since my quit money jar is filling up.......oh should think about that some more since I crave a smoke really bad right now......vacation.......vacation......vacation
