I'm into day 2 of my quit (day 10 on champix). Yesterday seemed to go ok, this morning is proving to be a bit more difficult, but I wouldn't say unmanageable.
The main problem overnight was the lask of sleep or lack of good sleep and been kept awake by my bladder. Has anyone else had the experience of needing to go the toilet more when quitting?
I'm probably drinking more during the day, but I try to not drink anything an hour or so before bed. I was reading articles about cystitis last night and that it seemed to indicate it was more prevalent in smokers as nicotine irritated the bladder, so I'm confused.
Has anybody got any similar experiences or advice?
Many thanks
Kat

I expect it's just that you're drinking more. Also your sleep will be a bit screwed up day 2 through to 5/6. You've done really well to make it to day 2. I get the impression most people don't last that long!

Thanks for the reply
I suspect the increase in liquid is contributing, but it feels like my bladder is conspiring against me. As soon as I get into bed it starts making me aware of it's presence, I'll go to the loo and then back to bed and then 5 mins later it starts again. I also wake up during the night desperate to go.
I'm not worried or think it's something sinister, it's just very very annoying as my sleep is already disturbed.
