thank you all, I apart from all other reasons to quit I can't afford to pay £7 a day to go up in smoke, I have just one cig left after that I quit.

Hi David, been here so many times, I think I should move in.

Any bit of stress and I crack. I am now trying to learn to relax, I have done Reiki 1 training and finding that really helps so there is only myself that can do this. Thanks again David for your support now and in the Past.

Hi Joan,

Please don't worry about the false starts you may have had, just put them down to experience. You learn every time you try to quit, and you obviously are committed to stopping smoking or you wouldn't be on here. This forum is what gave me the will to try in the first place, and although I have failed again I will not quit on quitting. After all, I have stopped twice now for the first and longest times since I started, which is a major improvement for me. And this forum did it for me. Oops, I hope I haven't turned this into a negative post, it wasn't intended that way, think what I am trying to say is that I fell for an old trigger or association which I hadn't learned to deal with yet, but I will be prepared for it next time.
