Another one at 100 days - and a roll call!

Hey everyone

A very happy new year to you all.

Despite a blip in December - I have reached 100 days - still smoke free and out of the dreadful 3 months doldrums. I think the blip really helped me as it reinforced the fact that I WANT to beat this addiction...and any happy memories I have of smoking, have been quickly replaced by remembering just how awful that cigarette in December was.

I think I really appreciated giving up on Christmas Day when I stayed throughout the whole meal without having to escape for a smoke - was so nice to relax and enjoy being with my family without worrying about when would be an appropriate moment to get my fix. Also - the walk in the afternoon was wonderful - didn't get out of puff, didn't have to hang back for smoke, didn't have wonder what to do with the cigarette butt. It's all good!

So - who are the other October quitters still here with me? I am hoping there are still quite a few?

I haven't been on the forum for a while - needed to get my head together abit after my blip. But it is good to still see the old familiar names - and new ones coming up! We can all beat this addiction - some will find it more difficult than others - but it is something that is possible, achievable, and one of the best things we could ever do.

So who's still around?
