60 days freakin awesome

60 days quit for me and I wouldn't have thought this was possible. Had a wonderful christmas day with my family yesterday and although I had a few pangs of "I fancy a cigarette now" the urges weren't too bad. The only really worse "want" was after eating xmas dinner but managed to get through that one.

I'm really seeing the benefits of not smoking especially on christmas eve! I went out shopping in Brum and would've been knackered in minutes going up and down stairs and escalators...wheezing away and feeling tired. My stamina was amazing...move over Arnold Swarzenegger, I'm putting you to shame with my own "Jingle all the Way"! Anyways....Have a great boxing day.

Good for you LIsa, bloody brilliant. You're realising now that these little triggers can be ignored with a bit of willpower, and, you must have that to have got you first 60 days in. I bet time will really fly now, after all, we don't have to work our lives around smoking do we. David

Thanks David, you're right about life revolving about smoking. I do feel a bit of a saddo posting on boxing day. Just had a few minutes whilst my house was taken over by a train set snaking through my living room and kitchen LOL!. I need a bigger house....at least not smoking will help pay for it (only joking).

Those craves are getting so much easier....it's just like a momentary fleeting thought whereas before the craves would seem like an obsession and last for hours rather than seconds. Just thought I'd post that thought to confirm it to myself and tell others it does get easier.
