Well my day three on the patches was a disaster ... Not that I smoked a single cig but that I was admitted to hospital and had to have an enema!!!! Was awful! So if I can do that n not smoke all of u can do much better I'm sure lol :eek::eek:

Ahhh thats nothing, i was on day 9 or something and i had to go to hospital.. on my own.. for an operation, again none quitting related but quite a common one known as a "periA nal abcess" iv now got a bloody big crater that needs packing by a district/practice nurse everyday. Due to the position, when i pee the urine saturates the dressing... my lovely husband to be has the wonderful task of having to redress it.

Im also on 3 different types of pain killers and 2 antibiotics, they also want to put me onto diazipam to help relax my muscles ( i was complaining of major pains in legs/back/chest none dvt related) but i told them no chance.. im sorry but i know what diazipam is mostly used for.. and i dont need it!.

now for the really embaressing bit, i dont mind sharing as i feel that if i can manage to not pick up a ciggy at this point due to all this stress... then neither can you lot have the excuse!

Due to the amount of painkillers and antibiotics im on, im obviously in need of a plumber on my... plumbings? :rolleyes: So they have given me Movicol..... told me to take 4 sachets due to the fact iv not been for 5 days.... end result wasnt pretty, i was on my own having to clean and change a not to nice dressing.. in a not to easy place.
