Hi :)welcome to the forum and well done on stopping smoking you will find as much support as you need on here if you want to you could join the november quit team called NOPE they are all going through the same stages as you
Just remember to keep hands and mind busy when you have a craving
posting and reading some of the links on here willdo both things
I've already found this forum a huge help. The past few days I've had a little voice telling me it was SO easy the first couple of weeks I could start again and then quit again after Xmas ...... plus I'm eating anything that isn't nailed down, especially chocolate!
I'll join the November group for a bit of moral support.
Cold turkey....that's tough, so you're doing really well and you should be very proud of yourself
As the days go by it DOES get easier. I promise you. I'm on day 47 and ok, sometimes I think it'd be nice to have a fag, but that's all it is. A fleeting thought.
Keep reminding yourself why you wanted to quit.
DO NOT listen to that voice that tells you quitting is easy and you can do it later. Its the addicted voice and is not telling you the truth!
Thanks everyone for your support. Been out all day today and haven't really thought about it - just have to keep busy I guess. Maybe it's just the terrible threes I keep hearing about.
I've developed a teeny obsession with cleaning my teeth - I think it's the novelty of a clean mouth!
