Today is day one on my champix

Im so so gutted with myself i really am,i quited 2 years ago and had lots of problems at home so i started again.So i have decided im going to do it for good this time,ive got lots of things going on to keep me busy.Moving house next week just me and my daughter a fresh start in a new house and fingers crossed a smoke free one and im so looking forward to it.

I spent a lot of time on here when i quit before and it really helped me so that is what i intend to do with this quit.The only down side is i will be without a home phone and broadband for a while when i move but hopefully wont be to long.Im loveing from a house in the middle of know were back to a walk away from all my family,so i intend to put my car in the garage and do lots of walking something i havent been able to do for a few years cause were i live no i have to drive everywere.

Im so looking foward to a fresh start and be smoke free again.

I know its going to be a hard road but i did it once and i will do it again.Im also going to weight watchers so i just hope i dont put much weight on with quiting but hopefully with me bing more active when i move that shoudnt happen.

I would love to be friends with anyone thats on day 1 of champix today xx

Hi Kay,

Please don't be gutted because you started smoking again, it is so easy to do when life problems become difficult, but today is a new day Believe me I know, cos I blew my 50 day quit due to extreme problems, and now I wish I hadn't. All it does is make everything so much worse. I have decided to restart my Champix again tommorrow, so I would be very happy to be friends with you as I could do with a quit buddy I will send you a friend request, so look out for it

I'm with you on the walking, one of the great things about being quit was I could walk further, faster and longer, and carry my shopping home from Tesco's, something I had given up on ages ago. I can't wait to get those benefits back again, it was so lovely.

So here's wishing you all the best with your quit, you sound like a very positive lady to me.

Hi i was thinking about quiting on Saturday that will be a week on champix but we will have to see how it goes

Welcome back Kay - sorry to hear your family problems didn't get any better - don't beat yourself up about smoking again, it could so easily happen to anyone (nearly did to me a few times!)

I'm not on Champix but I wish you all the very best. We've just got to do whatever we can to give ourselves the best chance of beating this frustrating habit. Sounds like you've got lots of distractions to help you and exciting things happening so I think you're going to do great. Good luck!
