Well done on getting to day 15. That is a great achievement.
I was lucky and got through week 3 without much trouble. I know I have had days where I really wish I could have one, even now and I am on day 45. Although I think it is curiosity with me (was it as good as I remember? Did I really like the taste?).
Just hang in there and just remember how hard you have worked to get to this stage.
Well done on getting this far. It is a bit of a roller-coaster in the early stages but you will come through it. Hang on in there - just don't give in.Not even one or one puff.
Keep telling yourself how far you've come and how you don't want to go back there. You are killing off that Nico-demon in your head and this is its last ditch attempt to grab you back.
Each time you pass one of these craving moments, the next one is easier until they vanish altogether.
Post here, drink water, recite the alphabet backwards - do whatever it takes and the moment will pass - I promise.
Just stick with it. You will come out the other side!
I think the 3 week thing kicks in because the initial thrill and novelty and all of the instant benefits have begun to fade - I smell nice now, my cough's gone, my teeth are white - so now what?!
I guess we have to focus on the bits we can't see. I try and think about my lungs healing themselves, slowly but surely.
Keep up with the bike riding and read over some of the week 1 posts - remind yourself that it was waaaay harder back then..
