Today is day 17 It is really cool that I don't have any intentions to smoke ever again.
I made some weird observations. I have just realized a couple of days ago that it can be a more conscious act not to do something than to do it.
I was looking at other people smoking and they did it completely automatically, Allen Carr was right.
Maybe I feel like this, because I have just recently quit.
An other thing... I wasn't aware that we are so much used to seeing people smoking that it counts normal. It shouldn't be like this.
absolutely true i cannot believe cigarettes are legal and are so readily available to one and all as a smoker i obviously didnt feel like this and it was normal to smoke but since quitting my view on it is very different
I don't understand why the government can ban certain food chemicals and drugs etc but not ban cigarettes which contain loads of chemicals and send thousands of people to hospital. Not to forget the effects of second hand smoking and smoking around children!
It would be a brave government who outlawed ciggies - imagine the riots of all those reluctant quitters! And think of the tax implications! It will never happen.
