Hi all, I've nearly finished week 3, and I have been experiencing bad wind and have been more regular than normal (I thought it was supposed to be opposite when you quit?) anyway, just wondering if anyone else is having this also?

Hey Matt.. yep.. its normal.. Gas is one of the signs of withdrawal. Acid reflux is also a sign where you might feel a little pain in your chest and want to burp...

I think the answer is in your signature. Unless you were a very very heavy smoker I would think you are now taking in more nicotine then when you were smoking, 25mg patch and an inhaler is a lot. It is the nicotine which has laxative properties in smoking and that is why a side effect of quitting is being constipated, but I think because your using so much NRT you have now gone the other way.
