just surpassed week 1 and today Ive been smoke free for 8 days... Im actually much more calmer. Its a weird feeling when I crave nicotine then all of the sudden I snap out of the feeling. One thing Ive notices is my mouth is sore? has anyone else gotten this?
One other positive thing is in the morning I dont have to rush anymore as I ususally had two cigs before I left for work (its amazing how much time that take up)
Another issue I have is the odd time I do forget Im a non smoker and think Ill go out for a cig and snap back and realize I no longer smoke...that probably the only really hard issue Im dealing with.

My mouth was sore for a while and I had quite a few mouth ulcers, it lasted about a week I think.

I do that all the time! I suppose after such a long time doing it it gets hard to stop.
Had a couple of days of big time stress, had a short burst of a craving, dismissed it and just got on with it. i think if id smoked i would have just smoked my way through it instead of being pro-active about dealing with it.
Hello everyone hope your all going strong. Forndog I have the same issue with the sore mouth I have loads of ulcers still and I also have a very bad cough and sore chest. Its doing my head in now. I still struggle sometimes when Im out driving coz I liked a cig in the car. BUT
I have found that I have alot more energy, im up early in the morning and ready to go were as I used to be really sluggish. Ive started running again and finding that much easier so all is good. Im gonna have a glass or two of wine tonight so that will be a huge task
