Smoking Dream again!

Hi All,

I woke up with a bit of a panic this morning as i had yet another dream in which i was smoking!

Just wondering if any of you old timers can tell me when (or if) the smoking dreams go away?

I had one too...

I had one a few weeks ago and woke up devastated, was such a relief when i realised it hadn't really happened!!!

It was the first smoking dream I'd had in months so really put the wind up me, but not had one since!

I know I'm not an old timer but I had a smoking dream the other day Claire so it seems to be normal :confused:

But then again I still sometimes dream aabout my ex and it's been years since I've even seen him...

I guess smoking is one of those things that, like it or not, will always be part of us (like annoying men we've gone out with!)

Claire - my friend. I hate to say it but I think I know what is causing these awful dreams........ Its the company you keep (yes me - Sparky) With all the help you have been getting me to quit again you now have smoking back on your mind.

From one good friend to another here is my advice - deal with it I'm not leaving, If need be we can both start smoking again

dreamt i smoked 5 from a pack of ten, not the actual smoking bit though, typical me i just dreamt the dissapointment afterwards and looking at the pack and deciding whether to smoke another - and yup, i did choose to smoke - so i-m taking this as a warning to the softer side of me, there is no chance of getting away with a blip for me, if i smoke one i-ll be back on twenty a day, so N.O.P.E.

In directly answering Claire's question about dreams of smoking as an 'oldie'. I've got 3 years plus and can't remember the last time I dreamt of smoking, although I have had that dream a few times.

Oh, aye! The smoking dreams! :rolleyes:

I can't remember when they stopped either, but I do remember the sense of great relief when I would wake up and realise it WAS just a dream lol

They do stop eventually though, stick in there!

Wow, my smoking dreams are comming every night again now! Is that normal?

For the past 3 nights i have had very vivid dreams inwhich i am smoking!

I still get a smoking dream every month or so.To me I look forward to them.It is the only safe way to smoke.

I dream of smokinh all the time. I think it's because I spend time with a lot of other smokers so im always thinking about not smoking.

I had the dream again this week, I remember being shocked that I had smoked 2 out of a packet of twenty, so I went out the back door to have another that I would remember smoking, before throwing the 17 in the bin. How very strange.

And still not sleeping well, I fall asleep no problem, but wake 2-3 hours later, lie awake for hours before falling asleep again just before morning.
