Gah! Went of my first night out since quitting & got completely plastered. Ended up smoking, bought some on my way home at 2am & have ended up back on them all week so far.

Can't even begin to describe how annoyed with myself i am. Back to day 1 tomorrow, no more lame excuses. I will beat this permanently!

Good luck for day 1, dont beat yourself up for it. I am on my 26th quit but this is the longest i have been so hoping this is it!

Oh Mr E, noooooooooooooo!:(:( And you were doing so well.

Oh well, back up and at 'em. You need to arm yourself for the next time you drink. Plan for that moment, prepare for it, so that even through your alcohol fogged mind you can remember what a slippery slope it is.

I was one day short of 3 weeks! My own daft fault, to be honest i didn't even attempt to resist it. Figured one night wouldn't hurt. How wrong i was!

Worst part is, i'd had a fairly easy 3 weeks. Just watch my next one be a nightmare!

LOL - you're probably right, it will be. But maybe that'll make you think twice before jumping off the wagon again!

Well, i've gone past another week now. Managed to kick it last Monday & i kinda slipped back into my old quit mode fairly easily.

Now, if i can just get that first dreaded night out drinking over without incident, i'll be delighted!
