Hi all well day 2 and i had a fab nights sleep - been at work this morning and found bit hard but managed to get through it - now to crack on with the housework trying to keep myself busy and not think about cigs but they do pop up now and then.

The thought will creep up no matter what you are doing but stay busy for the first wee while. Housework is a great idea (never thought l'd say that lol).
Positive Mental Attitude is the easiest way to get through it.
Remind yourself why you are stopping and breathe deeply.
Gosh, your doing better than me, I'm on day three, but have barely slept!
Keep going - just think how quickly time passes....we will soon be classed as non smokers.
I am saving all the money I used to spend on cigs for a puppy, however I have also added onto the calender a specific treat i will buy myself each week if I can make it through!!
Yea! You made it through day 1 How does it feel getting that first day under your belt? I cant wait to (hopefully) find out.
The day at a time thing is so true - once you get day 2 down, then the next etc until you have so many you dont want to ruin them (i realise i ruined the day at a time thing there by going into the future - but you get my point!)
