Day 24. Leeeedle bit of wine...

I've had the most to drink I've had since starting my quit. I'm not a big drinker at all, but just went out with my husband and the boys for a birthday meal, and had the majority of a very nice bottle of chianti

Normally I would be itching to get home and chivvy the boys up to bed so I could rush out into the garden and smoke. Especially after all the wine. But no. I had a lovely relaxed evening and at the moment (and believe me this is nothing short of a miracle as I have had so much trouble with cravings, every single day so far) ... I DO NOT WANT A CIGARETTE AT ALL.

Now it may be the wine speaking but this feels like a real breakthrough, and I'm so happy I could almost cry.

It was LUSH - smoked duck breast salad, pan fried sea bass with champ and wild mushrooms, and sticky toffee and walnut pudding with vanilla ice cream.

Ps, I am on my 99th glass of wine (bit of a lie) so aplogies as I am quite aware my typing is rather hit & miss tonight but I don't care 'COS I AINT SMOKIN'
