stressed out

Hi all

Been fine all day last twenty minutes the kids are stressing me out for no apparent reason dont need a ciggie just need to relax argggggghhhhh ,needed to have that rant ,also pricing a job what someone else has bodged up dodgy gas boiler i got to put it right first bit of work pressure since i gave up nicotine need to calm down a little deep breaths and all that sorry to go on .

Hiya, long, slow, deep breathes. Take some time out for 10 mins even if you just go sit in the car I have had to take myself of for a bit today at work before I exploded :eek: Didn't want a fag because it wouldn't have changed a thing. Just needed that little bit of time & space to re-group

gaynor the mad thing is a dont want a fag just feel very tense and on edge ,smoking is the last thing i need in my life that will just make me even more tense wow never thought i would be saying that i need to suffer a bit of strees i thought it had been a little to easy up until now

Yep, smoking does make you more stressed. I have felt much calmer & relaxed since I quit. We will all have those moments of stress in our life. When we recognise that smoking does not alleviate that or make it better we are on to a winner. When we do smoke we are also taking time out from the situation which we can still do just minus the death inducing fag

stress sucks:mad: but we can all get through going on 12 days tomorrow and am ok!! we all have our times and i agree that i have been more calm since i stopped smoking..i guess i know i have no cigs to turn to so i gotta take it easy!! there were a couple times the child tested me!! lol but made it though!! good luch to you and keep it up!! we all are in this together and going through the same things...ur not alone!!

Well done to you to making it this far another 25 hours it will be 2 weeks cant believe i am a non smoker ,i will say it,s a bumpy old road though but i can walk this road one day at a time and stay clean and never take another puff .
