its day 9 of cold turkey and doing so well, but this afternoon I went into the kitchen and thought about life without the cigs..felt a bit sad and had the thought ' oh no never is a very long time... how can I never smoke again?'
Then I looked at the calender on the fridge that said a big fat 9 days on it and had a cup of tea... knew I was having a moment so decided to edit my business website ( 5 hours later - was still doing it and hadn't even noticed the craving had passed.)
I guess the tale for the day is ' don't forget...Nicodemon is always watching and waiting....'

Well, I think it's normal to miss something that has been such a big part of your life. Dont worry about having the moment- but do cheer about working through them.
Remember just how often you craved a ciggie when you were smoking, and how physically bad that made you feel- we get far less craves than smokers, because really once you are in the grip of a full blown addiction, you want one all the time, and even when you have one, you want one!
How can you never smoke again? Easy. It was a terrible addictive thing that we did that filled our bodies with nicotine, chemicals etc, etc. It was destroying us slowly & our families along with it.
It is not worth our time , our thoughts or sadness. We owe it nothing and ourselves everything
