Day 4 for OH - my hubby ALMOST had a cigar!!

Ok... I am on day 8 and hubby on day 4, He came home from work edgy as hell.... He had a beer and then proceeded to tell my son and I that as he has been really good quitting the fags he is having a cigar to celebrate !!

I know he is feeling it today, back in work where loads of people smoke - plus he has a really manic job... I just explained to him that I was so proud of what he had acheived so far and that he should not give up. He then took the cigar out of the wrapping put it in his mouth and .... stopped. He just stopped, put it down and came back into the living room. I am SO SO SO SO proud of him.. so proud xx

It made me realise how far I have come too... I did have a moment of craving but realised that I would have to start ALL over again from day 1

Nikki that's fantastic news, both you and your OH. It is so good quitting together, me and my OH quit two days apart and it really did make the quit stronger for me cos I knew that i'd be letting him down as well as myself if I gave in. You should both be really proud of each other, well done both.
