So day 4 and I feel surprisingly good for someone who was unable to contemplate his existence without cigs just a few days ago.
Aside from the health benefits, a longer happier life and more liquid finances I reckon one of the biggest benefits of stopping is gaining control of life again. I feel in control like never before, and surprisingly, I feel less of a need to control things, if that makes any sense?
The weird dreams and nausea continue, but pale in comparison to a life of nicotine addiction - an extremely small price to pay.
Have a happy, smoke free day everyone!
(Still grooving to MGMT - 'Kids' - the sound track to my quit)

I know what you mean about the controlling thing.I dont have to plan my day around my cigarettes anymore. Before it was a plan to have a fag before I got to work,in my teabreak, after dinner, before the dishes, before I go to bed.Now I dont have to schedule my life round a little white stick..
