Day 4 : I'm feeling this!

Hi Guys

So day 4 and I feel surprisingly good for someone who was unable to contemplate his existence without cigs just a few days ago.

Aside from the health benefits, a longer happier life and more liquid finances I reckon one of the biggest benefits of stopping is gaining control of life again. I feel in control like never before, and surprisingly, I feel less of a need to control things, if that makes any sense?

The weird dreams and nausea continue, but pale in comparison to a life of nicotine addiction - an extremely small price to pay.

Have a happy, smoke free day everyone!

(Still grooving to MGMT - 'Kids' - the sound track to my quit)

:)

Well done u

Keep up the good work as day 4 will soon be day 5 and every day is a bonus, just take it easy and one minute, one hour, one day at a time.

keep your guard up cos that nasty nicodemon can try and lure himself back in so easily so be alert and if he appears say NO then kick his BUTT!

LOL

I know what you mean about the controlling thing.I dont have to plan my day around my cigarettes anymore. Before it was a plan to have a fag before I got to work,in my teabreak, after dinner, before the dishes, before I go to bed.Now I dont have to schedule my life round a little white stick..
