I made it 1 month on Sunday at 6:30pm and I am so freaking proud of myself!!!! I never thought I could go this far and to do it CT!!!! And I really haven't had any real cravings even when I drink...it just seems like when I finally made up my mind and the light went off that was it, I don't think I could put one of them nasty things in my mouth again I have come way to far!
So I am going to focus harder on getting fit and pump up the Zumba and Couch to 5k as I hope next year to run in some 5ks!
Hope everyone is doing well!!!!

Ed - will be looking out for your whinge and whine post, it's what we're here for.
Michelle - a massive congrats on you 1 month quit, its great that you're just so positive if/when it starts to get hard just remember how amazing you feel right now!
LOL, thanks Ed, it gets confussing as to where you are suppose to go sometimes!
Wow 2 months sounds really good to me! Hate to hear you are having some issues, hang in there it will get better!
At the end of the day it matters not a jot where you post :p. The important thing is that you're off the cigs and we're here to share your celebration of each day/week/month!!
I'm hanging in there. I'm not going to cave, but the terrain's a bit bumpy and uphill at the moment.
I have to say, it seems to be getting harder and I can't figure out why. Can't get cigs off my mind, even dreamt about them last night! What's up with that?!
lol i was looking into doing "zumba" after a friend mentioned it to me the other day, had a look on you tube and OMG it looks so hard, dont think my body will ever move like that lol.
I do Zumba and its really not hard! On youtube its nothing like what classes are like (especially if you go to the beginner's one's like me!) and because it's dancing song after song its really easy to see you fitness improve (you think 'last week I had to stop in the 3rd song to catch my breath but now I can go on to the 4th' for example)
Please try it out at least once, I felt like an idiot the first time but its still sooo fun!
Sofia, I have tried and your right you do have to stop at some point and catch your breath for me cause I use to smoke but it does get easier. I "thought" I was in decent shape my first time, needless to say I couldn't walk the next day and didn't go back that week, which it's only offered on Tuesday and Thursday's here but I did go back the following Tuesday onc eI could walk again.
I won't laugh but I totally know what you are talking about! I have been going for a couple of weeks now and the feet and hands are not working out and there are women that are in there 50's rocking it! I'm 43 and I think these ladies are showing me up here! But I still enjoy it even if I almost knocked the girl next to me over!!!! Thank goodness she is my friend! LOL
Great to hear others are trying it... I'm sure the coordination will kick in at some point! The main thing is having fun and getting fit at the same time at least for me!
