I have just realised that i have done over 8 weeks on my quit, so i am now into month 3...maybe this explains why i am finding it harder (the terrible 3's). I am going to have a good read of the links about the terrible 3's, then introduce myself on the 3 month thread!
How quickly has that gone!!!
I am undecided what to do today! I have taken the afternoon off uni, as i am exhausted with the amount of work i have to do ( i had no lectures etc, was just planning on working till 5pm in the library) and am thinking about going to buy some new jeans and a few more bits of clothes, as i now only own 3 pairs of jeans! 1 pair is too big, 1 pair is too small, one pair fit me but i dont like them!!
I am also trying to fight the urge to eat a ton of quality street and drink a bottle of wone tonight, as i really dont think i am able to do that on a week night anymore!
how are you guys?
Tink-thanks for the message (and the yummy cake!!). I am just hanging in there waiting for the rubbish feeling to pass!
Lornaj-good to see you back, and you are right, here's to many many more smoke free birthdays!!
Hiya Claire - the rubbish feeling will pass. It is like a rollercoaster ups and downs. But as time goes by I'm sure there are more ups then downs.
Hey - its your birthday - you have that bottle of wine and quality street. I brough a packet of walnut whips last night and I have nearly ate all 6 of them  Oh well the slimming world scales may not thank me but I enjoyed them
tink-i think that maybe the wine will have to wait. Too much uni work to do this evening, and an alarm clock set for 7am puts pay to that idea, but the quality street are definately being opened!!
can I have the wine then? I'll drink it after my weigh in tonight - you know to celebrate me staying the same or gaining
Oh well I might be porkie but I'm a porkie ex-smoker and at least it is all paid for
What you doing at uni?
hahaha..of course you can have the wine for me...but the more i think about it, the more i want to pop across the road to the offy and get some to drink!!
I am doing a psychology degree, although i am starting to seriously question why!!
