Hi everyone some of you may remember me from april/may-ish, i tried to quit twice around that time and failed twice. This time though my willpower seems to be 10x stronger, its been one month and one day since i last had a cigarette. I decided i had to quit because i have crohn's disease and smoking really aggrivates it. I'm using patches. Also i feel great i have more energy and my teeth are abit whiter. Thanks.

Thanks skylark, I have a cup of tea if i'm feeling low on energy, or a power nap. I just put my patch on and try not to think about cigs at all. The crohn's is much better now I used to throw up alot when i was smoking, I dont think i've bin sick once since I quit and i dont get stomach pains anymore, so yer my crohns is alot better
Yeah quitting smoking is hard but its so worth it, I play my guitar sometimes but not as often as i thought i would when i bought it lol, but its always there when i want to blast an oasis tune out of it haha

Hi daniel,
Good to hear you, 1 month & 1 day is just brill. made up for you..& you shud be well proud of yourself
Just want to say a massive WELL DONE to you both for staying with your quit. So glad Daniels Crohns and Skys chest problems are better already, just imagine how much better you both will be after 6 or 12 month quit.
It is an exceptionally hard thing to do, I have been to hell and back during my quit but it is worth it, and you cannot smoke and have good health, I have learnt the hard way, just so lucky my cancer is still in remission at the mo.
Take heart, think strong, you can do this, just grit your teeth (swera and scream when you have too).
Yeah I remember ya, well done mate, I did think to myself........where's he bloody gone!!
Hows guitar coming along? Any new tracks you've mastered?? Take a look in the general forum I've posted a Noel special tonight! I can strum a few chords but it is hard........love my guitar hero's though!!
PLUS it's a great way of keeping your fingers busy whilst smoking!!
