Hello to everyone who has started their quit this month!
Just to strengthen eveyones quit and to get some team spirit going i think we need to start our own quit group for those who quit this month.
I'd of made one up by now buit i'm cr@p at thinking up cool names and stuff so since you will all be in it it's only fair to have a group vote. So, any ideas what will we call the group?
If no-one is interested then so be it.. i'll have my own little quit group all to myself!

Yup, it's been a rollercoster ride through the house of horrors so far and they won't let me off yet.

Getting a month of June quitters together is a great idea, it really is.
I'm part of a fun, supportive and inspirational but completely mad, mostly wine guzzling, group form last October.
It's helps so much to chat and support both here on the main threads and in the social group area.
Good luck with having the other June quitters join you......... not only can there be safety in numbers, but support in numbers can be amazing.
Congrats to you with your quit too.

The other nice thing about being in a group is that all your other group members read your posts! Firstly i'd suggest you put this in 2 weeks or 3 weeks quit thread as people tend to read forwards . Have no clue to june name. I suppose if last night had gone better you could have had the juner-roonies! Anyway. Good on you! Fi
I'll join! Only It's bit cheaty because it's not really my first day one! I've been given up with many little and some not so little lapses since July 08. See now if i'd never had another puff I'd be beating all those penthouse dudes now!
ACE, I think i'm still a member of August cigarette escapers, plus the De Novos and erm possibly others....But we keep trying. I guess we just gotta do!
Yeah, good lee. I had a really good six month quit and it had started to be really easy...So I thought i could get away with just a few here and there so you can guess what happened next...:rolleyes: But i pulled it back after a week or so, the smell was horrible and i hated it. Stuck a patch on just in case but am back non smoking with relative ease.
Yeah i was the same started having the odd ones then it went to just having the odd ones at work...Thought to myself hey i can control this(How silly i was to think that)
Then before i knew it the fell down the slippery slope a little more and was back to 10 - 15 cigarettes a day.
But back on track now as im on day 5 now
Great to see you staying strong and stoped it before you fell even further down that slope

There is a June group already, i thought it would be better to have one just for 2010 quitters. Keeps us all together, y'know

Although we are a pretty amazing bunch with a fabulous success rate...trawl some of our posts and discover that hilarity and hysteria kept us going......
but as you can see it has gone to our heads and we no longer even know what year it is so maybe not....
