I don't know if you want a full on explanation (from my understanding) but here goes:
When you smoke you are basically starving your body of oxygen. So your body compensates by carrying alot more oxygen in your blood. Now you've stopped you're no longer starving yourself of oxygen and are now already getting a big increase in oxygen absorption through your lungs as your body starts to repair itself. It means for the first week not only are you increasing your oxygen through breathing but your also storing more in your blood. Which makes you feel incredible; but after a week/10 days (sometimes a bit longer) your body works this out and stops absorbing oxygen at such high rates meaning you feel a bit down compared to a few days ago. But you still feel better than you did when you smoked.
day 9 ....yipee....A brew is better for you & last longer ...I got very tired & down too early in quit.....& a flat feeling after the first week is done..
