I'm about 25 hours into my quit - had my last cig at 9.30am yesterday, and just decided then and there that I wasn't going to smoke any more. I'd run out, and couldn't face going to the shop and spending another small fortune on something that is such a waste. Yesterday was ok, kept getting a bit restless when it would normally be 'fag time' but got up and did something else to take my mind off it. Couldn't believe it when I woke up this morning and remembered I'd gone a full day without smoking! Yay!!

Hi Terri you are like me the inadvertent quitter, no forethought and just stopped, I hope for you like me that it turns out to be the right way, I haven’t looked back and really hope you don’t either.
This forum is brilliant and if you use it as much as you can you will find it is an amazing quit strengthener , and the people on here will give you as much support as you need to become smoke free, keep well hydrated as for some reason quitting seems to dehydrate the body more so you need to drink lots of water all day, well done and CT is not so bad xx
