I am going to enjoy my last month now before I reach the penthouse and use it as a time of reflection throughout my quit and remind myself of the numerous reasons why I want to remain smoke free.

Really glad to read that your quit turned this important corner... seems you've broken many if not all of the associations and triggers and now enjoying life without the weed.
only 1 month to go now and that will be your first smoke free year (of many) done!, goooooooooooooooooo on!!!!!!!!!
Well done on such a sterling quit, and do hope you will celebrate another month gone by too
Thanx Jase , I have not god rid of all the triggers and craves yet I do still get them but it is easier to shrug them off nowadays . I guess that I will always be an ex smoker and consequently find myself fancying one for a long time yet. I still firmly believe in taking one day at a time and my immediate goal is to make it to the penthouse without giving in..........and then keep my head down lol.
Thanx Chrissie , great to see that you are still hot on my heels and I look forward to "meeting you" in the penthouse.......not long now hun
Thanx Amanda , yes I am fairly relaxed and dont get stressed out as much as I did when I smoked........but I put that down to exercise.
I find that brisk walking or jogging is a great way of dealing with anxiety and in turn keeping down stress levels.
Chrissie ............meant to say thanx for the cake hunny :D.....my favourite yum yum . might wait for you to catch me up and then stick my leg out at ya
