Day 4!

K, Day 4 according to the other posts! My sense of time seems to have slipped and this is usually about the time when i think i have not smoked forever and think that i can have one with out consequence :confused:

But i have done well, no major cravings still and not interested in having a smoke.

Still haven't told hubby or anyone, althought they may have guessed!

Thought i might give me a treat next week and have my legs waxed, seen as though the weather is much nicer, there really is no need to have a forest growing on my legs & under my arms for warmth

I also found out my cato Snowball Sir nags a lot has cancer, which strangely has not upset me (yet). After all we did get him second hand and I feel he'll be around for a good while yet, well i hope so, he's good at filling that childless void!

I have to check my quit meter to see where I am, doesn't seem such a big thing this time round. I'm not & will not smoke so no need to count each second LOL.

Iam surprised your hubby has not said anything, he must have noticed :eek: Having said that neither has mine & knows I am quit. I think he thinks if he mentions it I will want to smoke or something. At least I hope it is that & he is not being an a**e:eek:

Sorry to hear about your cat. I hope everything will be ok. My children are grown up & left home & my cat is just over a year old now. A beautiful monster I wouldn't be without

Day 4 for me and my hubby.

Yesterday I was so chuffed that we had got through the first 3 days without nearly killing each other.

Spoke to soon.

Last night I wanted to kill him, but am feeling ok now.

I'm feeling quite pleased with myself.

well done day 4ers keep it going,Molsta,know what you mean about past attempts and feeling like you havent smoked in ages and think just 1 would be ok.I think the "theres no such thing as just 1 cigarette" things really clicked this time ,had a couple of brief urges today but just told myself theres no such thing as 1 ciggie,seemed to work! sorry about your cat.

The support really helps, I want to be able to come on the following day and say I've got through another one.

SusanMcwhoever, Glad you both survived last night, your doing great! My husband is still alive too, although he's keeping clear and diligently doing anything I ask of him- think he knows and is scared I may erupt at any time!

Seems to be a part of nicodemon-lasp of time and thinking 1 fag won't hurt. But yes we all know it will and NO we will never cave to that nicodemon, off with you nicodemon off with you I say, Your eggs will never hatch in this body again!

Have to say I am having major cravings tonight. Worse than any other evening . I am not giving in tho, I have come this far, I know it's only 4 days but it is a major achievement

Hey Pandaspot,

How did you go with the cravings? It really doesn't feel like day 4- well day 5 now- but it feels a lot longer then that.

Good luck with today, just think of a lovely ending and don't feed that nicodemon what ever you do
