7 weeks today

Here I am bragging again but I have reached another milestone 7 weeks today. I have had bad times and good times I even stood with someone who was smoking today and I could smell it. It did effect me for a few minutes but then I was okay.

I will confess for the ones who are behind me it has not been easy. I did not expect it to be easy and I still have a long way to go. But to get to where I am now is worth going through everything I have went through so keep going and get here. I'm telling you now the scenery is beautiful and the air is so clean.

I never thought I would ever say seven weeks, so now it's head for week 8.

I would also like to add the support help and love on here has been a big item in my quit

Jack:cool::cool:

For the ladies xx for the guys a hug.

Hi Jack

Well done for reaching 7 weeks. Isn't it nice knowing that you are not smoking. Don't want to call myself a non smoker or an ex smoker yet because I think it's too early to say that.

I didn't expect this quitting road to be easy, but it's been quite an eventfull road. This week has been quite difficult, but like you said It's worth doing.

I never ever thought I would get this far (8 weeks) but we have all achieved something very good.:)

Keep up the good work and keep writing the threads I'm enjoying reading them.;)

Don't worry about it yes I did and still do. Some days the anxiety can be worse than others, you know your anxious but don't know why. The palpitations I get sometimes are mainly just after I've went to bed. I honestly think this is the change in our bodys after all we have been feeding it with all kinds of stuff and then suddenly we take it away. Even if some people continue to take nicotine we have stopped taking all these chemicals we have taken for years. So I'm sure the body and brain has a new problem to cope with, it does get easier.

bman, you bet I'll be breaking the hinges on that door it only 12 days. I'm starting to run towards it now. Hope my shoulder can take it though, ah well...........we'll soon find out.

Pol I never want to have to go through that journey ever again. I'd rather walk to the north pol.........sorry I mean pole.

Jody as usual thanks for the support this goes for Julie and Christine also. but I want you all to look in the mirror at yourselves and see how wonderful you are all doing.

Let's just do it together.

Tinks, thank you but this place would not be the same without any of us.

There is one thing we can thank Sir Francis Drake for, if he had not brought tobacco from the newfoundland we would never have got to know one and other.

You must be on 5 weeks now wow!!
