This is my 2nd attempt at quitting the 1st attempt lasted 4 and a half months then i blew it on a night out and Newcastle brown ale :o

This time im detemined to never smoke again the last quit was a sort of practice run.On this quit iv'e been to a family funeral a family wedding and had numerous nights out and yes drank the old Newcastle brown ale and i can also stand near the smokers with no problems.

To all of you new quitters it does get easier in time and it is so well worth the effort :) to the older quitters (in time not age) keep up the good work.

I think it often does take a practise quit or two before you get it totally sussed! The thing is, you learn from the mistakes you make - My big mistake on previous attempts is thinking that I'd got it sussed so I would just have the occasional smoke when I really wanted one!

I now know that is NOT possible and I am enjoying being totally smoke-free.

Keep up the good work Michael and thanks for posting:D

Michael as huge congrats is in order. To get where you are now takes hard work, determination and a desire to stay free of the control that nicotine addiction tries to impose on us.

So well done, keep this up, and don't ever fall for the notion of 'one will be ok' because it never is.
