Day 4 (again)

Hi All, I posted last week, i made it to 6 days and could see a small light at the end of the tunnel. Then Saturday night I went out to an engagement party and smoked. I felt so awful the next day. The good news is that I haven't had one since, so today I am on day 4 again and feeling good. For me the hardest time is the evenings once I have eaten tea. If I can stay strong in the evenings and avoid going out for a while I am hopeful that this could be the time I really do it! Thank you to everyone on here for giving me hope everytime I feel hopeless. Lots of love xxxx

Well done for getting back on with your quitting. the good thing is how awful you felt after smoking that should be a huge encourgement during the pangs.

After tea maybe you could suck on a mint or something, i know the feeling of the meal is not quite finished until i've tried to kill myself again:eek:

Staying away from booze for a while is a good idea, that old devil white wine has tempted me back to that monster nicotine more times than i care to remember.

Keep reading and let us know how you are getting on.

If you have any non-smoking friends, invite them to the cinema for a good film or something? You don't have to not go out altogether.. but at least with a film you have something to concentrate on for an hour+

Don't want to be totally living like a nun ;)
