Well the day has arrived and I feel good, got up went and sorted Mum out came home made myself a nice cuppa and opened my cards and presents, didnt even think about cigs. Feel good in myself like a weight has been lifted, with birthday money I am going to treat myself to lots of pampering stuff.
The main thing I need to learn is to control that voice in my head and recognise which it is as it can be very crafty and if busy it tends to sneak slowly in and before I know it Im convincing myself that a few a day wont hurt
Think I have learnt a lot about myself this last month . Ive read and read and have a few that Ive book marked for bad days.

Hi Mel,
Happy Birthday to you hun.
You sound so positive this time, I detect a change
Have a fantastic smoke free & positive Birthday & enjoy those treats.
You can never be overprepared to stop smoking.. but sounds likes you have found some determination among all the chaos, and ready to do this. good luck.. i wish you all the best.
You are worth all the effort you put at this, and there is no shame in turning your back on the thing thats been slowly destroying you.
As for the voice telling you its ok? you do right to stop listening.. laugh at the voice instead.. your in control here now. Not IT.
