And I managed to have two large glasses of wine yesterday(without smoking- Good)eating KFC instead (Bad)
And my ******* boss keeps giving me a hard time over NOTHING....I could potentially be sacked over some minor misdemeanour, such as wearing my name badge upside down. Never mind- didn't smoke.

Honestly, that boss of yours seems like an utter idiot (i had tons of words to use instead of idiot there, but feel free to replace with a stronger word in your mind to suit) I think i would be jobseeking for the heck of it anyway in truth.
Nothing is worth psychological torture.
Stick to your no smoking though, that is the one thing you are going to ensure stays solid at the moment.
A colleague of mine told me he wants me gone so he can replace me with a friend of his (who is polish also, and has reduced mine and someone elses hours and given all of the nights to another polish friend, which i never agreed to. I'm not racist at all but he just wants all his mates there.) Now he's on at me for every little thing and i think he wants to make me actually leave. Another colleague has put in a grievance against him about his behaviour, and a customer also has compained ! I hope it's not long before he shoots himself in the foot. I know smoking doesn't help with stress , but i wanted one after hearing that, and i'm afraid i had one/some...But back again (to the day one folder)

Jude.... what are you doing??? Why do you put yourself through this torture???? Do you want to be a non-smoker? I think you do...... then you're going to have to do what a non-smoker does which is not smoke...... you let yourself have slips and then slap on a patch.... you avoid trying to really do the quit..... you will stay in this vicious cycle until you make the decision to break out of it. Stress sucks but a non-smoker does not smoke during stress...... you can totally do this, Jude..... I have total faith that you can..... I just wanted to point this out (sorry if some of it sounded harsh) Maybe take some time to think about this....

Your message to Jude struck a chord with me as that is what I had been doing for the last two weeks & you are SO right. I feel a little that if I don't quit for good this time than what you said above will be my life. Patch, stop, start. Patch, stop, start. It's giving me a bit more motivation to get through today
